Tom Fowler
Tom is Director at Jokers, the live entertainment agency that has been booking acts for venues, cruise lines and events since 2006. He oversees the whole business, from comedy and cruise to live music and production, and set up Jokers Management to give the best comedians on the circuit proper management and a home for their careers.

Andy is an award-winning comedian and host, and one of the most popular acts on the UK comedy circuit. He has spent years on stage in clubs, theatres and at sea, so he knows what makes a great night from both sides of the mic. As Head of Comedy he looks after our managed acts and helps clients find the right comedian for every room.

London venues compete for every night out. A regular comedy night gives people a reason to choose you midweek, fills the room on quieter nights and keeps them at the bar for the whole evening. FAQ
Questions venues ask us
How much does a comedy night cost?
It depends on the line-up, the date and how far the acts travel. Most venues book an MC and two or three acts. Send us your date and capacity and we'll come back with a clear quote, with better rates for regular nights.
How far in advance should we book?
Six to eight weeks is ideal so you have time to sell tickets, and Fridays and Saturdays in November and December go early. We can sometimes turn a night around in a week or two.
What size room do we need?
Comedy works in rooms from around 40 people up to theatres. What matters most is a space where the audience faces the stage and the bar noise stays out.
Do we need our own sound system?
A simple PA with a microphone and stand is all most nights need. Tell us what you have and we'll advise, or arrange equipment if you don't have any.
Can the show be clean or family-friendly?
Yes. We book clean acts for family audiences, corporate events and holiday parks, and adult line-ups for late-night club shows. Just tell us your crowd.
Can we run a regular monthly night?
Yes, and that's where comedy really works for a venue. We'll rotate the line-up so regulars always see new acts, and help you build a loyal audience.
Which areas do you cover?
Anywhere in the UK. Our acts travel nationwide, so wherever your venue is, we can put on a comedy night there.
